If you read the title of this blog, you already know that this is going to be about the infamous leg lamp from one of my favorite movies of all time, "A Christmas Story."
And you would be right.
And so here is my Speechless Sunday pic!

How cool is that? Even though it isn't full sized, I now have the leg lamp from "A Christmas Story" sitting on my desk. Everytime I turn it on I can still hear Ralphie say, "There's only one thing that could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric..."
If you don't know the rest of the line, go watch the movie!

Love the movie! I'm sure this provides for great conversation and awesome motivation! Enjoy!
How great is that??? I need one of those!!
Bob, now you have a leg up in real estate each day. Good stuff
Twist and shout, listing and selling real estate requires swinging, using all four limbs. Both feet, both arms. Like the tap dance way you hunt and pecked this flow of electrons. Neat lamp. About a 6 quad shoe? (Squinting)
I think I'd rather have "leg of lamb" medium rare!!
Now how cool is that, Bob! There are a number of iconic items that I've warmed up to over the years. I have the edition of Cosmopolitan magazine, which featured Burt Reynolds as a centerfold. I haul it out every once in awhile! I can understand why you have a thing for that lamp:-)
Bob, I do think that is very cool and more cool for you to blog about it. I remember that lamp so well and love to watch that movie. David really identifies with the movie. Those little boys look just like photos we have of David and his brothers. Hope your Sunday was perfect!
