Okay folks, after much trial and error and having to settle on something that I'm totally thrilled about (thanks to the stinky weather we've been having), it is time to roll out my 2010 commercial. It's a month past scheduled air date, but here it is...
You can see that it is shot in front of a green screen. The weather forced us indoors. All in all...it's okay.
Kind of catchy theme song, huh?
If you live in the Tulsa area, watch for it to air on Channel 2 at various times.

I filmed a lovely commercial about 3 years ago. Loved it.
However, it didn't produce much in the way of business. I discontinued after 3 months because broadcast time in my market is very expensive.
Good luck.

So I'm assuming you were a duel agent on this one? Your name is on the sign and you're handing the key over to the buyers. No other agent in sight.
I like the catchy tune and phone number.
Very catching and concise. Good luck and I hope it brings you some sellers!
Hi Lenn, I agree about the expenses involved. In this case, we were able to get great pricing for several agents within the company. Otherwise it would have been way to expensive. And in this case, I will push it out via social media too. So we will see...
Tim, I would have been a dual agent if it had been an actual sell!
Douglas - Thank you!
Bob, I like this commercial and hope it brings you a lot of business.
Way to go Bob!!! I now know a TV personality! It's great I hope it brings you alot of business!
Bob - crisp clear concise 20 second message well done ... It sounds like you have done this in the past and it must have worked for you as you are doing it again.
Nice work, Bob! May it bring you an Emmy award and tons of business.
Very nice Bob! I hope it works for you, meaning lot's of contacts and transaction sides. Good to see people stepping out and trying new/creative things. All the best!
With YouTube being the second largest search engine I would just make videos. Also you need to redo the description and tags for this video to get better search results on Youtube. (think key words) Try Oklahoma Real Estate instead of Real Estate etc. Also change the Title from b_haywood_lll.wmv to a key word rich title. Other then that you are on the right track with video. I am not trying to be critical here. Even though it sounds like it. Check out my YouTube profile and look at the tags i did for an example. Also notice my YouTube vanity url is a highly searchable key word for my area. I never use my name in a url anymore since people never search it any way. I will remove the link if you have a problem being in the comment. I put it in so it would be easier to follow a link then to ask you to search my user name.
Hope it bring tons of business, Now I want to do one as well.
Bob: I think that you are being hard on yourself. It looks pretty darn professional to me!
I like the commercial, good tunes. good luck.
Bob, I now know your number by heart and only had to listen to it once :) Great snappy tune that sticks in your brain....(or mine anyway, lol). I've thought about doing some commercials here to promote my new company. Hope your phone rings off the wall!
Bob--the phone number song was my favorite part. I may prank you.
Bob, I don't think I'll ever forget your phone number after watching this commercial!
That is great! I do agree with Jeff Commenter #11. You need to work on your keywords and get them really tight. Do your keyword research first.
Also, even if the song does not sing the area code- you should have the area code at the beginning of the # even small is Ok. You just never know when someone is visiting the area and sees the ad and does not know what to dial and if this is going on the internet, I don't know your area code- others will not either. I see this in all sorts of businesses and blogs too for that matter. Along with agents not putting what towns they live and work in, many don't even put their state on their profile page:) Katerina
Hi Bob. It looks fantastic. I also would change the title of the Youtube video so that it includes your location in it. ~ Lana
Good Job Bob. I like the alliteration of your phone number making it easy to remember. I also like that it's short and to the point. Let's have a great year.
Very nice Bob. I ran a TV ad about 14 years ago it was hugely successful. I finally stopped it because I couldn't go out in my little town with out people bothering me!
The tune is very catchy. Much success for you!!
Well done, Bob. Good thing the office number doesn't end in "nine's."
Bob,
Great job with the commercial and congrats on the feature:)
Congrats Bob! Love the catchy tune of your contact number. Did you hire someone for the green screen shot?
I like the sell a home for you too, and then the phone number rhyming. Agree with Katerina, add your key words in.
Lot of folks on YouTube who need to know where you are.
Hi Bob. Very nice commercial
It got featured? A commercial? Wow.
Ken
Love the jingle...very catchy with the phone number. Thanks for posting...very interesting!
Bob,
I love it, friendly and concise. Like the very easy phone number, everyone can remember that. Hope the phone is ringing a lot.
All the best, Michelle
A star is born! I just managed to make time to attend rain camp and will see you there!
Nice work, I am sure that was fun to put together and finish.
Bob - Great job. You have skills in commercial creation! And it really is a catchy tune.
Jeff #11, thank you for the help with the keywords and title. Going to be working on that!
Katerina #18 - I'm working to have the area code added. Thank you for the pointer! BTW, it's 918.
Andrew - thats funny!
Russell - looking forward to Dallas!
Everyone else - thank you!
Bob,
Loved it. To the point. I hate people that drag on about themselves and how great they are. Good luck.
Bob:
I applaud your effort --- It will be interesting to see what kind of results you get.
Hi, Bob. I like the phone number the best...very easy to remember. Overall, it'a good commercial. Congrats!
From one that has done some chroma-keying on green screens before, the video was done very well. Glad to see the community giving you pointers. Keep up the good work.
I lke it.
Hi Bob - I didn't see or hear Tulsa (or any location) in the commercial. Is that by design?
Bob - Very catchy tune, and it certainly helps to make your number memorable. Nice job!
Love the tune Bob and love that it's a short clip and that it rhymes. But get some geography into it.
Hey Bob I think snow days has been good for you! Very cool - short and sweet promo! Yahoo!
Featured in BananaTude!
Great quality and who could forget that phone number!
that was great fun to watch - be curius to see how you do!
Yup. It's the phone number alright! Who'd you have to bribe to get that? LOL. Good luck with the ad.
Hi Bob~ Very catchy amd memorable! Hope it brings you tons of business!
Hi Bob -- Very cool. Who was the brains behind all the technology, design of it, very cool and catchy. I like upbeat tempo.
Bob - Great job! Love the tune...good luck!
With smiles,
Bo in Yukon
PS. See you in Dallas
From the desk of David Dee,
Bob, nice clip. That phone # is very catchy.
I'm intrigued by the idea of a commercial, but I'm not sure about the return on having it on television.
Bob:
Fabulous - very catchy tune. This type of advertising can be painful on the budget. I hope it works out well for you.
AWESOME!...I hope you get a lot of business from it!
Hello Bob,
Congratulations on the commercial. Lets us know how it works out for you. Good Luck.
Very nice job. How did you get that phone number? Smart thinking on your part.
Neat commercial Bob. I think your phone number is great, very easy to remember. Yes, you could tell the grass was a little green. Overall, I think it a spot you can be proud of. Hopefully it produces something for you.
Thank you.
I had to think about my wife's cell phone number today...but I remembered your number. Good for business, but a tough one to explain to my wife!
Congratulations on your commercial! And that jingle with the number...it makes an already incredibly easy number to remember even easier! Very nice.
Yup a real estate commerical. YIPPEE!! Good luck with it . . .
